Charlottesville Swans Synchronized Swimming was founded in October 2012 by Coach Samantha Elhart with the mission of introducing synchronized swimming to athletes and growing the sport in the Charlottesville, VA, area developing a team to compete at the regional and national levels. The team has grown to be the most competitive team in Virginia, qualifying multiple routines to compete at Junior Olympics National Championships, 13-15 Nationals, and Junior Nationals Meets.
